Spicy Kale Chips Recipe

Kale chips... that doesn't sound too appealing right? I didn't think so but I do like kale in general so I was willing to try it. This is a super easy recipe for spicy kale chips. If you are not a fan of spicy foods just omit the cayenne pepper.

First, pre-heat the oven to 250. Next, clean the kale and remove the stem (you only want chunks of the leafy part). Place the kale on a cookie sheet. Use as much or as little as you want. I covered the entire bottom of the cookie tray.

In a bowl, melt 1/3 cup of coconut oil, or Olive oil can be used. Mix in cayenne pepper to taste, and garlic powder with just a pinch if salt. Pour over the kale and mix well.

Place cookie tray in oven for 20 minutes or until kale is crispy. Remove and enjoy!

*If your kale is oily but still crunchy, let it air dry before storing it in an airtight container. This is a great low calorie snack.
